I went to scope out a new shooting location today and was pleased to see it is in full bloom. While there, I followed around a butterfly that I named Charlette.
She fluttered over to this cluster of flowers and lingered there for a while. I didn't notice Charlette's little friend until I began editing. Do you see him? She must have brought me over there to introduce us.
I just love these little surprises in life that can make me so happy.

Tapir Nose Exercises
This is a Tapir, an endangered species from South America. The zoo we visited last weekend has 5 of them. One is a baby, that is the one in these pictures, doing his nose stretches.

New Look
You probably noticed a new look to my blog. New look, same great stuff. I am still working on the new design so please pardon me while it is under construction. The blog will be fully functional and I will be continuing to post as I am tweaking the design of the blog. Do you have feedback on the new look? Please leave me a comment.

This is one of my favorite places to visit and take pictures of animals in New Jersey. I'll be posting more from our visit to Animal Kingdom in the next couple of days.

Bed in the Forest

I took an old bed and set it up in the woods behind my home. Put my daughter in a cute dress, perfect for a fairytale setting....took her out to the bed and let her just play away...jumping on the bed, laying on the bed, imagining that her bedroom was in the forest with the chipmunks and squirrels. We both had a wonderful time. It was so much fun and turned out so cute that I am now going to offer this as a session choice to future clients.

Hippo Kisses
We went to the Adventure Aquarium in Camden, NJ recently and I was kissed by a hippo. A great escape from the heat and fun for the whole family. Here are a few more pictures from that day.
