Pink Hair Dare Complete!

We had wonderful success with our Pink Hair Dare to raise money for cancer research through The Gateway for Cancer Research
We met and went beyond our goal of raising $2,000.

Thank you to all who donated and supported us in this. Thank you to Jeanette Bingham, who gave her time and donated the hair dye for us. Thank you to my husband and son for being willing to dye their hair pink with me. Special thank you to my friend Chris, who continues to be an inspiration to me and will forever be with me in spirit.

This is a recent painting of mine that I used two images as models. One of the wolf and one of Alisha. A special thank you to Valerie to allow me to come and photograph her wolf half breed to use as a base model for the wolf. I was going for a "New Moon" feel to the painting with the larger then life wolf who watches out for and protects his little friend.

Last Thursday was "Take Your Child to Work Day".  My boys and I went out and did a photo shoot together. We had a great time and I will forever treasure these images of them from our special day we spent together doing what I love.

The painting is meticulously hand painted, the gift prints

are fully edited but unpainted.

* To have the painting done before Mother's Day the photoshoot must take place before April 15th so I have time to paint and order that artwork. Or present the card to the special Mother on Mother's Day for her to have done after Mother's Day.
