My oldest son had surgery on Friday. This was his second surgery in the past 6 months. This time he had a tumor removed from his back. I'm pretty sure I was more nervous than he was. We will find out the biopsy results in 10 days.

Icy Valentine's Day
Most kids are thrilled when they have a day off from school because of snow. My boys were thrilled, not my daughter. I took her outside to play in the snow/ice to try and cheer her up. Here are a few images from this morning.

Valentine's Day Cards
Apparently I am not going to keep up with the 30 Days of self portraits. I just can't stand to be in front of the camera that much!

30 Days, Day 10
Day 10 of my 30 days of portraits. Another hand shot. Here I am putting on a rubber glove to change the packing on my son's wound. He had surgery last week and the surgeon could not close the wound, it needs to heal from the inside out. So I have to pack it every day with gauze. It is very painful for my son and difficult for me to do to him. As a mother, you do what you need to do for your children though. Anyway, this shot was just a quick one before I changed his packing.
